James Franco is an American actor, screenwriter, director, film producer, artist, and poet. His most critically-acclaimed film is 127 Hours (2010), for which he received nominations for one of the Academy Awards for Best Actor.
James Franco’s Early Life
James Edward Franco was born in Palo Alto, California, on the 19th of April 1978. Franco’s two siblings, Tom and Dave Franco are also actors. Franco was a student at Palo the Alto High School and graduated in 1996.
Then, he enrolled at his school, the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), as an English major; however, he resigned against his parents’ wishes after the first year of college to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.
