Joseline Hernandez, also known as “The Puerto Rican Princess,” is a Puertorican-American reality TV personality, actor, rapper, and actress. She is well-known for being one of the prominent actors on the VH1 reality show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

Joseline Hernandez Early Life

Joseline Hernandez was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on November 3, 1986. When she was just six years old, she relocated from Puerto Rico to Florida along with her mother Carmen, stepfather Luis, and five siblings.

Her father was a biological father who died of an overdose of heroin before the family relocated to Florida. At the age of sixteen, Hernandez began to strip with the name Sheneliica Bettencourt so that she could help her family struggling with poverty and ensure that her younger siblings had everything they needed.

Joseline Hernandez is bisexual. She has admitted that she enjoys both women and men equally and doesn’t have a strong preference in one direction. Her nickname is “The Puerto Rican Princess.” One of her brothers has autism.

Hernandez, as well as Stevie J, claimed to have got the wedding ceremony in 2013. But three years later, Stevie J admitted that the wedding was faked to gain publicity. 

The following year, Joseline said they’d been in a relationship for a long time, but they were never legally married. Their breakup was highlighted in Season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.

While filming Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’s fifth season reunion, Hernandez revealed she was pregnant with Stevie’s sixth baby.

They welcomed their child Bonnie Bella on December 28 and 28, 2016. Joseline and Stevie J have been embroiled in a recurring custody dispute regarding the custody of their child Bonnie Bella.

In May of this year, Stevie J alleged that Joseline had not allowed him to contact or see his daughter for over one month. Stevie J also stated in the legal file that he was worried about his daughter’s safety and general wellbeing.

Stevie J suggested that Joseline wasn’t suited to being a parent. He also said that he’s financially secure and that his family of the singer Faith Evans would be a more positive influence on his daughter. Stevie J also demanded that Joseline be paid child care.

Before the custody drama, Joseline commented on social media that Stevie had shown no Interest in their daughter. The entire situation erupted in the latter part of July 2019, as Stevie J was scheduled to be the sole parent of his daughter starting July 28 until August 11.

However, when Stevie attempted to find the girl from Miami, Joseline flew off to Los Angeles with Bonnie Bella. A warrant to arrest Joseline had been issued after she was able to surrender the child to her father.

Joseline flew back to Miami together with their daughter. Bonnie Bella was given to Stevie’s adult daughter. Stevie J was granted sole custody until the next court date, which is August 15, 2019.

In November of 2019, Stevie J was granted the primary custodial rights to Bonnie Bella. Joseline was granted the right to visit. The courts also determined in favor of Stevie J no longer had to pay child support.

Joseline was informed of this during Marriage Boot Camp: Hip Hop Edition. She went through a breakdown on screen and said she felt her life was crumbling.

Fortunately, it was only a temporary arrangement, and Joseline was granted temporary custody to ensure Bonnie Bella could continue attending the school she attended with her mother in her hometown state, Florida.

The agreement, which allowed Stevie J from child support, continued to be in force until February 2020. At the time of writing, the couple was fighting it out in the courts.

Hernandez made public her romance with the music producer Robin Ingouma, known professionally as Balistic Beats, in April 2018. Then, in 2020 Hernandez, along with Beats, were engaged. Hernandez, as well as Beats, are set to get married on December 25, 2020.

Joseline Hernandez Career

Hernandez was found through Stevie J while she was stripping at the Onyx Club in Atlanta. She was part of the crew of the Love & Hip Hop Atlanta debut season in 2012.

Stevie J was her new artist. Of course, it was discovered the fact that Stevie J and Joseline were engaged romantically, and this did not go well with Stevie’s girlfriend or her fellow Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast member Mimi Faust.

The love triangle of the three of them was the primary plot of the VH1 reality show. Hernandez was a part of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta for six seasons. The Atlanta rendition of the series is among VH1’s most popular shows.

In May 2020, Joseline began casting for the second season of Joseline’s Cabaret. In December, Joseline returned to the Love & Hip Hop franchise to join the crew in Love & Hip Hop: Miami for the third season, which debuted in January 2020.
